Well it diWWell it has taken me a while to get back on my blog to leave a post, but here I am at last !!! Better late than never.
I have been trying to change my background to this lovely new one ( thanks Marie for telling me about it ) and found that I just could not do it without a little help and so tonight I was extra nice to my daughter Sarah and she kindly did it for me.....Thanks Sarah !!!! Now all I need to do is try to keep her at home long enough to do a few more little additions to my blog for me.
I've also been quite busy since my last post.Craftwise I've joined Marie and Leesa at Simply Said for our regular Wednesday Morning ATC meeting / workshop / morning tea /animated conversation and lots of laughter......it is soooooo much fun ! OK we might not actually get a great deal of work done but we all certainly have a great time together. This weeks meeting I was running on adrenalin...I didn't get to bed until 1:00 am the night before...I was finishing my ATCs for the Photo Booth Ladies Swap that Marie, Leesa and I participated in.It was my own fault really...we had about 2 months to create 9 ATCs for the swap...i made the last 8 of these on Tuesday night !!! That is just like me to leave it to the last minute...but then again, maybe I do my best work under pressure...mmmmm, that sounds like a good explanation...I think I'll stick with it, lol.
On Monday I ran a workshop at a local indigenous group where some of the members created their own Doodling Page ...A La Nicole Finlayson ( thanks Nic).I was so impressed by the work that these lovely people created, and they all said how much they enjoyed it too. I have been invited back in a fortnight and cannot wait to see them all finish their artwork.I am hoping to get some photos of their work to put on my blog.
I finally bought myself a Cuttlebug this week ( yahoo !!!) Up to now I have been fortunate to have the use of Danielle's ( thanks so much Danielle !!!) but it was quite a buzz to finally get my own...especially for my 6 year old, Charlotte, who is an avid crafter.Next on my list is the Slice Machine...can't wait for that !!!
I certainly have been blessed to have "fallen" into this beautiful world of papercraft....I have met and/or become friends with so many beautiful souls....you know who you are !!! It has been the best thing to happen to me in a long time and I am bursting with so much joy that I want to be able to share it with you all.
I think that I had better go now as I am beginning to ramble a bit . Thankyou for taking the time to check in and read my blog and an especially big THANKYOU to all my crafty friends who have been so encouraging and supportive of my journey...words are not enough to express my immense gratitude to you all !!!
Bye for now , Samantha x
